About Irina
I am a near-native speaker of English and have an academic and pedagogical background. I have been working as a teacher of English at FNV Scholing in Eindhoven for over 6 years. There I provide evening courses for adults. I develop materials for the lessons that cover various aspects of the English language, as well as information about English culture and literature.
In addition to my work at FNV, I provide tutoring courses and give private lessons in the English language. I also have experience working as an English teacher in a primary and secondary school with children aged 6 to 16.
Thus, I have experience in both working with a group and giving individual lessons, and therefore I can provide tailor-made training courses.

Owing to my pedagogical and professional skills, I create a stimulating learning environment and teach the language in an interactive way. I think that attention to the students' needs plays a major role. That is why I always use relevant material for the lessons. I am open for feedback, and we discuss the content and key points of the course with the participants. Furthermore, I am familiar with various didactic methods and use ICT resources for my lessons. I have relevant teaching experience and affinity with teaching methods,and a clear vision of current developments in language teaching.
