Do you ever wonder how to balance raw self-taught intuition with actual music theory? I have spent 13 years navigating this exact musical space. My BMus Jazz Guitar from the University of North Texas solidified the foundation that my early days with cassettes began.
Reading tabs and power chords feels different once you grasp the underlying logic. Strumming patterns and rhythm guitar parts become second nature alongside fingerpicking and acoustic technique. Teaching music theory and improvisation for soloing is honestly the most rewarding part of my life.
I also help students with tuning and maintenance so your instrument stays ready. Reading sheet music is just a map to the sounds you want to play.
