About Ursula
Performing music requires a deep foundation, which I gained through my Bachelor of Music at The Juilliard School. I have spent 13 years teaching improvisation and soloing, music theory, reading tabs, grade exam prep, barre chords, acoustic technique, fingerpicking, and tuning and maintenance. My work ranges from helping nervous beginners to guiding students toward performance levels.
Meeting you where you are is how I handle the music, the technique, and the progress toward your specific goals as a guitarist. It is a slow, methodical process that just works for most.

Pacing is the most important element of any successful musical practice. Results come from consistent focus on acoustic technique and theory rather than rushing through complex patterns.
Because of my 13 years of teaching and my Juilliard training, I know exactly when to push for more improvisation and when to sit back and refine basic fingerpicking.
