About Jaxon

I’m a guitar teacher with 4 years of experience helping students grow into confident, skilled performers. I hold an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals and specialize in preparing players for band auditions, ensemble settings, and live performance. Whether you're stepping into your first rehearsal or gearing up for the stage, I’m here to guide you through it. My teaching style is both encouraging and focused. I believe in creating a supportive space where students can push their limits and thrive. We’ll work on stage presence, tight rhythm playing, and how to lock in with a band—skills that make a real difference in live music. I also emphasize the power of creative collaboration. Learning how to listen, respond, and contribute musically in a group is just as important as nailing your parts. From dynamic control to groove awareness, we’ll fine-tune the details that elevate your playing. I’ve helped students of all levels sharpen their timing, boost their confidence, and deliver strong performances. About the lesson

My teaching approach blends solid playing skills with real-world guitar knowledge. Along with learning chords, strumming, and music theory, we’ll also cover the practical side of guitar ownership. I help students understand how to care for their instrument, from changing strings and cleaning frets to doing basic setups that improve playability. You'll learn how to tune your guitar properly, adjust action, and keep it stage-ready.

We also explore the world of guitar electronics and effects pedals. Knowing how your gear works is just as important as knowing how to play it. Whether you're chasing a clean worship tone or a warm acoustic strum, I’ll guide you in shaping a sound that fits your style. We’ll break down pickups, pedal chains, EQ settings, and amp basics in a simple, hands-on way.

I work especially well with The Campfire Strummer and The Worship Leader—players who want to sound great, play with confidence, and take care of their instrument. I make sure you’re not just playing songs, but fully understanding your setup. You’ll gain the skills to troubleshoot issues, swap out strings fast, and dial in a tone that feels like yours.

Every lesson is designed to build both confidence and self-reliance. You’ll walk away knowing how to make your guitar feel, sound, and perform its best.
