About Jade
I have been tutoring both privately and through Huntington Learning Center this year, helping students achieve great grades during the pandemic! I specialize in English and Social Studies tutoring, and enjoy working with middle schoolers and high schoolers. I’m here to remind students that reading is fun! :)

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making sure students understand what they are reading and why it is important. I will have students read about 2-3 paragraphs out loud for me. I stop to focus on challenging vocabulary words. At the end of these 2-3 paragraphs, I have the students summarize what they just read for me to make sure they understand what they are reading.
