About Noble
Hi there! I'm a recent graduate who just completed all University-level math courses through the OSSD with strong results, and I'm heading into college this year. Math has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I genuinely enjoy helping other students discover that it doesn't have to be intimidating.
My goal as a tutor is simple: to make sure every student not only understands their math, but feels confident walking into their next class or test. I take a patient, structured approach, breaking down concepts step by step and making sure nothing moves forward until it truly makes sense. Whether it's brushing up on the basics or preparing for the leap into high school, I tailor every lesson to fit the student's pace, learning style, and goals.
I know firsthand how overwhelming math can feel, especially heading into Grade 9, and that's exactly why I'm passionate about tutoring. You can count on me to be reliable, prepared, and fully invested in your success, one lesson at a time.

My Approach as a Tutor
I believe math becomes easier when students understand the "why" behind each concept, not just the steps to get an answer. My teaching methodology combines guided practice, real-world examples, and active questioning. I ask students to explain their reasoning back to me, which builds confidence and catches gaps in understanding before they become bigger problems.
A Typical Lesson
Each session starts with a quick review of previous material (5 to 10 minutes) to reinforce retention, followed by introducing the new concept through worked examples. We then move into guided practice, where I gradually step back and let the student solve problems independently while I'm there to correct mistakes in real time. I end each lesson with a short recap and a preview of what's coming next, so students always feel prepared rather than overwhelmed.
What Sets Me Apart
Having completed all University-level math courses through the OSSD with strong results, I understand exactly what skills and habits set students up for success in high school. I'm not far removed from being a student myself, which means I remember which concepts commonly trip people up, and I know how to explain them in a way that actually clicks, rather than just repeating textbook language.
Who These Lessons Are For
These lessons are ideal for students in elementary school through Grade 8, especially those preparing for the jump into high school math. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying on track, or building a stronger foundation before Grade 9, I tailor each lesson to their specific class, curriculum, and pace.
