First, I get to know my students and figure out their preferred method of learning. I try to understand why they are struggling and find a way to make learning fun for them. In my experience teaching, once we establish this intrinsic motivation within the student, learning the actual subject comes much more naturally.
I have a high school level and college level general chemistry curriculum ready for use including: Power Point Presentations, in-class worksheets, creative take home assignments, and bi-weekly quizzes. I am also capable of giving support for any high school or college level Chemistry classes students may already be taking.
In essence, I want to make learning fun, effective, and useful for my students. Students will probably ending up learning more silly puns/acronyms than they expect, but that's the secret to this subject!

I am a 4th year Chemistry major at UC Riverside currently studying secondary organic aerosols with Professor Haofei Zhang. I'm also an Undergraduate Research Ambassador for Student Engagement at UCR working to aid students with scholarships, graduate school applications, and finding research opportunities during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Lastly, I am a part of the Mentor Collective at UCR and I am currently working with 3 mentees. I have a passion for Chemistry and I love showing people the easiest way to understand the subject. I will be attending Caltech in Fall 2021 for my PhD in Chemistry.
