About Armita

Hi! I’m an incoming D1 dental student at NYU with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I’ve spent years developing strong visual reasoning skills through both my studies and my work as a self-taught artist and designer, which translates directly into success on the DAT PAT. When I wrote the DAT, I scored a 25 on the PAT (550 on the new scoring system), and I’ve since helped others approach this section with clarity and confidence.

When I was preparing for the DAT, I found that many PAT resources were confusing or overly complicated. I focus on simplifying each section into clear, repeatable strategies that actually make sense, so you can improve both your accuracy and your timing.

My teaching style is structured, supportive, and personalized. I take the time to understand how you think and adapt my approach so that concepts “click” quickly. Whether you’re struggling with keyholes, TFE, or angle ranking, I’ll help you build the confidence and skills needed to perform well on test day.

About the lesson

I’m a dental school admit and McGill biomedical engineering graduate with a strong background in visual reasoning, design, and problem-solving. I specialize in teaching the DAT Perceptual Ability Test (PAT) using structured, high-yield strategies that make even the most challenging sections feel intuitive and manageable.

My approach focuses on breaking down each PAT section step-by-step, helping you recognize patterns quickly, avoid common traps, and improve both accuracy and speed. As a self-taught artist and designer, I bring a unique perspective to PAT preparation, especially for sections like keyholes, TFE, and angle ranking, where visualization is everything.
