About Hasan
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor with three years of experience tutoring and mentoring students across a range of subjects, including maths, physics and Spanish. Having achieved 4 A*s at A level in maths, further maths, physics and design & technology, I have developed both a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for learning.
I will be studying Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London, following my enthusiasm for maths and physics and my desire to explore these subjects at a deeper level.
My experience working with students of different ages and abilities has taught me to adapt my explanations, be patient and be able to identify the underlying reasons why a student is struggling. I aim not only to help students achieve their academic goals, but to develop their confidence, curiosity and problem-solving skills so that they become increasingly independent learners.

My tutoring approach prioritises genuine understanding and strong foundations rather than simply memorising methods. I focus on building the background knowledge needed to understand not simply how a concept works, but why, using visual methods and simulations while adapting the depth and explanation to each student's level. I regularly use challenging questions to develop confidence with difficult exam problems, while building a flexible, intuitive problem-solving approach that students can apply to unfamiliar situations. I also encourage students to bring questions they find difficult, working through them together and helping them develop the intuition and reasoning needed to solve similar and more difficult problems independently.
