About Alice

Hey, I'm Alice, 23 years old, and I'm studying for my Master's degree in Computer Science. I graduated from high school in 2021 with a perfect 1.0 GPA, specializing in advanced courses in Math and English. Even during my school years, I started tutoring because I enjoy tackling complex topics and helping others truly understand them. Over time, I've increasingly noticed that many difficulties in math and computer science have less to do with a lack of ability and more to do with entrenched thought patterns like, "I just can't do it." It's important to me to dismantle these mental blocks step by step and create a way to approach the material in a way that feels understandable and achievable. I place great emphasis on a pressure-free learning environment. Questions are always welcome, and I tailor my approach to each student's pace and current level of understanding, ensuring that the content is truly grasped rather than just superficially covered. Through my studies, I've also learned to break down mathematical and computer science concepts in a structured way and explain them precisely. Therefore, I look forward to supporting you in becoming more confident in dealing with mathematics and computer science and in achieving your goals step by step.

About the lesson

My lessons are individually tailored to the needs and goals of my students. Before each lesson, I prepare suitable tasks and materials so that we can work specifically on current problems or prepare for tests and the Abitur (university entrance exam). During lessons, I place great emphasis on interactivity. Instead of simply explaining the material, we solve problems together, with me guiding the solution process step by step and providing prompts without giving too much away. I use a digital whiteboard for explanations, allowing us to work together and visualize content clearly. Questions and, of course, feedback are always welcome, as a pleasant and motivating learning atmosphere is particularly important to me. After the lesson, my students receive additional practice materials or model solutions upon request, so they can consolidate what they have learned independently. My lessons are aimed at students in middle and high school. I am especially happy to support students in their long-term improvement of their mathematical understanding.
