I love to learn! I loved being a student and learning about many different subjects, I loved traveling to Mexico, India, and China to learn different languages and cultures, and I love the different perspectives I hear every day from my students and my own 4 teenagers/young adults. Tutoring is about understanding the subject, but it’s also about understanding how you as a student learn. You may not learn best by seeing (visual learner), like me… you may learn better by hearing or making things. But, you CAN learn… let’s find out how!

I believe most of us intuitively understand science and math concepts; it’s the detailed steps and procedures that sometimes confuse. My objective as a teacher and a tutor is to motivate students by reinforcing what they know, then helping them see the connections between that and new, more detailed information.
