About Maya
Hi everyone!
My name is Maya. I was born in Java, Indonesia.
I have extensive experience translating English and Bahasa Indonesia, including legal documents, licenses, taxation as well as complicated government contracts.
I love cooking, music and art, movies, cryptocurrencies and different culture discussion.
I became a private tutor for 7 years. I’ve been teaching people at most ages and backgrounds, from 7 years old to adult. I became a volunteer teacher in and outside Indonesia. I don't have any of formal teaching certification.

I like to ask my students about their goal and discuss how they would like to learn the language. I use various materials including PPT presentation, flashcards, PDF Files, Article and News, and a lot of discussion. I like to have an interactive class so that my students will speak more and learn more vocabularies, grammar, pronunciation and structure. Teaching method and style can be tailored to each individuals.
