About Jenny Paola
I am an industrial design student focused on experience-based learning that encourages creativity and critical thinking. I believe strong design skills are built through a balance of solid theory and hands-on practice. My goal is to equip students with practical tools and clear design frameworks so they can confidently face real-world design challenges. I have experience working on product design projects for companies committed to quality and excellence, as well as on services centered on user experience and service design. I bring a professional, structured, and supportive approach to every lesson, helping students develop both creative autonomy and strong design foundations.

My lessons integrate principles from both art and engineering to approach product and service design in a structured yet creative way. I teach design as a problem-solving process, combining conceptual thinking with technical tools and real-world applications.
I use well-established design methodologies such as Bauhaus principles, the Double Diamond framework, and user-centered design approaches to guide students from idea to solution. Alongside theory, I work hands-on with industry-standard tools like Fusion 360, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, helping students develop both creative and technical skills.
A typical lesson follows a clear structure. We begin by identifying and understanding a design problem, then analyze references and inspirations to define a strong design concept. From there, we move into the ideation phase, developing ideas through hand sketches or digital tools. Depending on the student’s goals, lessons may focus on concept development, visual communication, or technical execution.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my interdisciplinary approach and my focus on autonomy. I encourage students to think independently, develop their own design criteria, and understand why design decisions are made—not just how to execute them.
My lessons are designed for design students, beginners interested in learning design independently, and anyone seeking an introduction to art and design thinking. They are especially suitable for those who want a practical, method-driven, and creative approach to design.
