Mrs. Skube was my son’s teacher and tutor for 3 years!!! She is amazing and played a pivotal role in his ability to read. He was struggling and not engaged and she knew just what to do to get him to laugh and love his work. My son loves Mrs. Skube and our family is so lucky to have her in our lives helping him. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mrs. Skube as a tutor for children who need a little extra help to meet skills and also for advanced learners who want a little extra learning. She is fun and engaging and so very good at what she does. She loves her students and they feel it!!!

Carie is an amazing teacher and tutor. She began as my son’s second grade teacher and is now his tutor. Given her wide range of knowledge and experience, Carie has been able to identify the areas my son has struggled in, put a plan together to help him progress to the next stage in reading, and advised me on his IEP at each grade level.
She is constantly learning and improving herself with annual classes and certifications. This translates to her students in a fun and innovative teaching style, as well as, a great ability to connect with each student's individual style of learning while boosting their confidence and self esteem.
My son enjoys his lessons with her and looks forward to learning. The learning continues in between sessions as well. We have implemented recommended reading strategies in our day to day. Carie has a true gift for teaching!
