About Amber
My passion for teaching and music has guided me throughout my 10 year journey as a flute tutor. I teach school and college students and work hard to create lessons that are enjoyable, organised, and easy to understand.
Students learn breathing techniques, posture, finger placement, scales, rhythm, tone production, and musical expression through practical exercises and regular feedback.
I feel proud whenever students achieve their goals and become more confident with every lesson. Alongside flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, and beginner music education.
I believe music teaches valuable life skills such as patience, focus, creativity, and discipline, and I encourage every student to enjoy this wonderful journey.

I teach flute with the belief that every student has unique musical potential. My methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students enjoy learning while developing excellent technical skills.
Students build strong fundamentals in breathing, posture, finger movement, rhythm, and note reading before learning articulation, scales, ornamentation, improvisation, and musical interpretation.
Motivation helps students stay confident throughout their learning journey. Communication makes every lesson interactive, simple, and enjoyable. Integrity ensures every student receives equal respect and patient guidance.
Creative teaching methods include movie songs, classical melodies, rhythm games, ear training, listening practice, duet performances, and performance preparation. Besides flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and music appreciation.
