About Sallie
I am an experienced violin tutor with 12 years of teaching practice, working with around 300 students including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning simple, clear, and effective, as I believe students learn best when lessons are easy to follow.
I pay close attention to fundamentals such as posture, bowing technique, rhythm, and tone quality, ensuring strong skill development. I break down complex techniques into smaller, manageable steps so students can learn with confidence. I also guide students in building good practice habits that support steady progress.
One of my notable achievements is helping students grow into confident violin players. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn.
