About Violet

I am a professional singing tutor with 7 years of experience, having taught 150–200 students from beginners to advanced performers. My lessons are built on personalised learning, tailoring instruction to each student’s goals, vocal abilities, and learning style. I specialise in vocal techniques such as breath control, tone, pitch, phrasing, and vocal agility, while also emphasising expression, stage presence, and performance confidence. Lessons include music theory, rhythm training, ear development, improvisation, and creative exercises, ensuring students receive a well-rounded musical education.

I encourage students to explore multiple musical styles, improvise, and develop a distinctive and confident voice. I provide guidance for auditions, competitions, live performances, and recording sessions, helping students perform with professionalism and confidence. My teaching methodology balances technical mastery and artistic development, with lessons structured yet flexible to meet each student’s pace. I create a supportive and motivating environment, encouraging students to take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow continuously. I focus on helping students overcome stage anxiety, refine their musicianship, and express themselves fully through music. About the lesson

Have you ever felt frustrated when your voice didn’t sound the way you imagined? My teaching methodology, guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), helps students overcome such challenges while making singing enjoyable and productive. I focus on motivation by celebrating small achievements, setting achievable goals, and encouraging consistent practice to build confidence. Communication ensures a supportive environment where students can ask questions, share their preferences, and receive detailed feedback to improve tone, pitch, articulation, and breath control. Integrity provides honest assessments, disciplined practice, and a professional, respectful space for growth.

Creativity lets students explore styles, improvisation, and personal expression, helping them develop a unique voice. Lessons also cover music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to ensure a holistic musical foundation. Each session is tailored to the student’s skill level, goals, and interests, combining exercises, guided practice, and interactive activities.
