About Sam

I am a dedicated French tutor with 14 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have taught 150–200 students and helped them build strong language skills and academic confidence. I am passionate about helping students grow and succeed.

My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, practice, and encouragement. I believe students should feel comfortable while learning a new language. I explain concepts in simple English and use examples that are easy to understand. This helps students learn without fear or confusion.

I personalise my lessons according to the student’s level and goals. I help students prepare for exams, complete assignments, and improve overall communication skills. I also focus on regular revision and practice to ensure steady improvement.

One of my key achievements is helping students overcome hesitation and improve their performance in French. Many students have shown noticeable progress and gained confidence. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated.

About the lesson

My teaching approach to French is centred on practical communication and real-world understanding. I use real-life examples and simple case studies such as daily conversations, travel situations, academic discussions, and workplace communication to help students understand how French is used naturally.

I keep my lessons flexible and adapt the pace and teaching methods according to each student’s level and learning goals.

Collaboration is encouraged through interactive conversations, role-plays, and guided speaking practice that help students build fluency and confidence. Compassion is a key part of my teaching style, and I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

Along with French language instruction, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, conversational French, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.
