About Luken
I am a professional Guitar tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals learn guitar in a simple and enjoyable way. Over the years, I have worked with students from various backgrounds and skill levels, helping them develop confidence and a genuine love for music.
My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that learning should be enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student. Every learner has a different pace and goal, so I customize my lessons to match their needs. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to improve.
My lessons include guitar basics, chord progressions, rhythm techniques, scales, fingerstyle methods, music theory, ear training, and song performance. I emphasize strong fundamentals because they provide the foundation for long-term success.
Throughout my teaching career, I have helped many students participate confidently in school events, college cultural festivals, and community performances. Seeing students transform from beginners into confident guitar players is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
My goal is not only to teach guitar but also to inspire creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on the belief that music learning should be enjoyable, inspiring, and suitable for every student. I teach with compassion, clear communication, and continuous support because I understand that every learner has different strengths, goals, and learning speeds. I create a friendly and comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, express themselves, and learn with confidence.
I teach Guitar through a step-by-step approach that focuses on building a strong foundation. Beginners first learn posture, hand positioning, finger exercises, rhythm understanding, and basic chords. Once students become comfortable with these fundamentals, they gradually move toward scales, chord progressions, strumming techniques, fingerstyle playing, and song performance. Advanced students are introduced to improvisation, musical creativity, and performance skills.
I strongly believe that regular practice and patience are important for long-term success. Therefore, I encourage students to follow a disciplined practice routine and celebrate every small improvement. I provide continuous feedback to help students develop confidence and overcome challenges.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, music notation, and songwriting basics. These additional subjects help students understand music more deeply and improve their overall musicianship.
My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, disciplined, and passionate musicians who enjoy learning and continue growing throughout their lives.
