About Alicia
In my solo performing career, I have played at The Purcell Room at the Southbank Centre, St John's Smith Square, and St-Martin-In-The-Fields, as well as giving several UK recital tours. I have also given numerous concerto performances including Grieg's Piano Concerto and Piano Concerto No. 5 by Beethoven.
I received a scholarship to study piano with Gabriele Baldocci at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where I studied for three years and graduated with the highest level postgraduate diploma. I was previously taught by Nigel Clayton at The Royal College of Music.
I view my ability to teach the piano, and pass on my knowledge, as a unique gift to inspire and enrich people's lives through music. Let's start our journey together and make it one to remember!

I teach anyone who is committed and motivated to learning the piano, be that children, teenagers or adults.
I am available for lessons at my home in Streatham, at your home in Streatham, Balham or Tooting, or online. Lessons are usually 45 minutes (£38) or 1 hour (£50) and take place weekly.
Some of my students take part in concerts, festivals and grade exams, some simply enjoy learning the piano for themselves. What's most important to me is instilling a life-long enjoyment for music in my students. I use my skills as a certified life coach to inform and tailor our lessons to your personal goals.
Most importantly, I believe that a supportive, positive and trusting relationship is the foundation of a healthy learning environment. I aim to nurture well-rounded and confident players in a relaxed, friendly and flexible approach including music-reading, technical proficiency, theory, learning repertoire, listening skills and more.
I hold an enhanced DBS check.
