About Rory
For the past 10 years, I have enjoyed teaching Spanish to High School and College students who want to improve their academic performance and communication skills. I believe learning should be interesting, practical, and designed around each student's individual learning style. By creating personalized lesson plans, I help students stay motivated while building confidence in every aspect of the language.
My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish. I explain concepts using clear language, practical examples, and interactive exercises that make learning easier and more enjoyable. Students actively participate through discussions, role-playing, and real-life conversations that improve fluency and confidence.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to identify each student's learning needs and adjust my teaching methods accordingly. I provide detailed feedback, regular progress reviews, and customized study strategies that help students continue improving at a comfortable pace.
I also introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures by discussing traditions, customs, music, food, and everyday communication. This helps students understand the language more naturally while developing greater cultural awareness.
My commitment to personalized learning allows every student to receive the guidance they need to reach their goals. Whether preparing for school examinations, college assignments, or future opportunities, I remain dedicated to helping students become confident and successful Spanish speakers.

My teaching philosophy is centered on making Spanish learning clear, interactive, and goal-oriented. Compassion helps me create a supportive learning environment, integrity ensures that I provide honest guidance and professional instruction, and adaptability allows me to modify lessons according to each student's progress.
I focus on strengthening grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through practical activities and real-life communication. Students actively participate in conversations, listening exercises, reading tasks, and writing practice that improve fluency and accuracy.
I encourage independent learning habits while providing continuous support and detailed feedback. Lessons are flexible enough to meet academic, professional, travel, or personal learning goals.
Besides Spanish, I also teach conversational Spanish, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, writing, listening skills, DELE exam preparation, business Spanish, travel Spanish, Hispanic culture, and communication skills.
My goal is to help every learner gain confidence and lasting success in Spanish.
