My approach to science tutoring is highly student-centred, focusing on building understanding, confidence, and exam success through a blend of proven teaching strategies. -I start with an assessment of the student’s needs and goals. -I encourage active participation from the learner. -I use a variety of methods to ensure all learner needs are met -I employ strong questioning, open-ended problems, and scenarios to develop analytical skills and scientific reasoning. -I integrate past paper questions, mark scheme analysis, and timed drills to build familiarity and confidence with assessment formats. For most students, especially at secondary level (KS3, GCSE) sessions last between 45 to 60 minutes. Can be adapted I completed my teacher training at UCL 2 years ago I have been teaching Biology in a Sixth Form college in East London since then I am familiar with all major UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.) and can tailor lessons to specific specifications and syllabuses.
