About Duane
Teaching is something I have a passion by inspiring young individuals to achieve their true potential.
Background: Freelance tutor. I have graduated from Imperial College London, with a 2.1 in Chemistry with a minor in Business Management, with practical experience in Biotechnology industry.
I teach Maths and Chemistry to A Level & GCSE standard.
I am a patient, positive individual with the strong communication skills, with advanced knowledge in Chemistry and Maths to help facilitate understanding.
I am able to establish supportive relationships with students and their parents and with the aim of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self-esteem. I use homework to consolidate and extend learning and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own learning.
I monitor and evaluate the teaching and learning of pupils effectively.
