I always adapt my learning styles to suit my students - sometimes we need visual tools to help us understand a difficult concept or perhaps a game to engage my younger easily distracted learners! Rather than explaining all of the answers, I aim to ask open questions to encourage my students to understand and explain themselves, which proves to be a more successful learning method and teaches critical thinking to avoid mistakes. By encouraging work outside of my lessons along with providing various independent revision techniques, my aim is to maximise learning and encourage habits that can be taken into future exams (and perhaps not just in Maths!)
