About Mika
Hi, I’m Micaela Faria — an Interior Architect educated in London with First Class Honours and over 10 years of experience across Interior Design and Interior Architecture.
I'm working on real residential and commercial projects while supporting students and emerging designers in developing stronger design thinking and more confident project outcomes.
My approach goes beyond software or completing assignments. I help students understand how to think like designers — developing concepts, building portfolios, improving presentation quality and creating projects with stronger narratives and clearer technical direction.
Alongside practice, I am also a certified trainer and public speaker, and the author of a book exploring the relationship between design, nature and the way spaces shape human experience.
I can support students with:
• Interior Architecture projects
• Interior Design projects
• Concept generation and storytelling
• Spatial thinking and design process
• Support preparing for university work and final presentations
My methodology combines academic rigour with real-world project experience, helping students bridge the gap between university and professional practice.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, preparing a portfolio, refining a concept or developing a complete project, my goal is to help you build confidence and create work that reflects your full potential.

My lessons are designed for students and emerging designers who want support beyond traditional tutoring.
Rather than focusing only on completing assignments, I help students develop stronger design thinking, improve project quality and build confidence in presenting their ideas.
Sessions are tailored to each student and may include:
• Interior Architecture and Interior Design project support
• Concept creation and storytelling
• Space planning and design refinement
• Presentation and visual communication
• Guidance on creating stronger narratives and more cohesive projects
• Support with university projects and final presentations
My teaching combines academic knowledge from the UK with real project experience in residential and commercial Interior Architecture.
A typical session may include:
→ Reviewing your work
→ Identifying areas for improvement
→ Developing a clear action plan
→ Applying feedback directly to your project
My goal is not to do the work for you, but to help you develop the skills, process and confidence to become a stronger designer independently.
Lessons are online and adapted to your stage, objectives and pace.
