About Denise

I have been a guest teacher for grades K-12 in the states of Michigan, Georgia and Florida. I also graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with a major in fine arts so I have decided to share my passion for design with students of all ages.

About the lesson

The teaching techniques that I find to best most helpful to my students (and myself) are those that make the subject matter simple, relatable and fun. I enjoy introducing new art mediums and ways to use them creatively, I love to be as patient as I would like my teachers to be when I am learning something new. When I learn I like to say I am more visual and use repetition physically and verbally so I would start this way when I teach and hopefully get my whole class to have a great time learning together. Painting and drawing can relieve stress in your life and have a therapeutic affect for you and your family. I look forward to adding some more color to your life!

Interior Designer with a heart for decorating and the patience to bring out the Artist in students pursuing the craft.
