About Ashlyn
Technique serves the music, not the other way around. My conservatory training revealed that physical ease is the foundation of artistic expression. Having spent 6 years in private instruction, I understand the complexities of the keyboard intimately.
I earned my MMus from the Peabody Institute where voice and piano were my dual focus. 96 students have refined their rhythm and hand independence under my guidance. I prioritize clarity in every chord voicing. Balancing technical rigor with musical joy is my primary goal.

We start with a diagnostic playing assessment before we set a learning plan for your specific goals. I incorporate sight playing, scales, and ABRSM exam preparation into our time together.
