About Matt
I'm an actor, working both in France and in England. I've played renowned French Formula One driver Alain Prost in the Netflix series Senna (2024), French warrior and King Arthur's right hand man Lanval in ITV series The Winter King, as well as international roles in hit shows like Le Bureau des Légendes, Salade Grecque and many more. I was born and raised in France, in a family where we flipped from English to French in the middle of sentences. My entire life has revolved around languages! I've also spoken Spanish from an early age and in the last two years have taught myself Portuguese (well enough that Netflix let me dub my own Portuguese voice in Senna!), so I know how to approach learning a new language. I'm interested in all things sports, culture, films, you name it. I think using the things you are passionate about is the best way to learn a language, so let's get to it, c'est parti!

My approach to languages is that there is no one approach. Having learnt languages, tried to learn languages and most importantly taught languages, I know that it's about what works for you. However, I think that the real trick to perfecting a language is confidence! Through a mix of structured lessons in grammar and vocabulary as well as a tailored and fun approach to conversation, I'll get you speaking French confidently in no time.
