My name is Alex, I am turning 20 this year. I have lived in Singapore my whole life, however, I moved to Amsterdam last year to study Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
My hobbies include health, exercise, playing with pets, going on walks, yoga, and food, of course!

I believe that once you find fluency within a conversation, it is easier to apply that knowledge to other aspects of the language, such as writing and grammar.
In my tutoring sessions, I will start with getting to know the student and understanding their interests. I will begin my sessions by talking about the student's interests as I find that the student's excitement with the topic will motivate them to be more confident and excited with English. From then on, I will work with the student to extend fluency into other topics of interest.
I am a very patient and enthusiastic tutor and I want the student to feel like they can learn at a pace they are comfortable with.
These tutoring sessions are focused on those who have a basic understanding of the English language but want to be able to have conversations more fluidly.
