About Lydia
I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I enjoy helping others understand topics that they may initially find difficult. Having gone through GCSEs and A-levels relatively recently, I understand the pressures students can face and how important it is to have concepts explained in a way that feels clear and manageable!

Hi! I’m a third year university student studying International Business with French, offering friendly and personalised tutoring for GCSE Business and French.
I achieved A grades in both Business and French at GCSE and an A in AS-level finance, continued studying both subjects through A-level, and now study them at university level. This means I have a strong understanding of the GCSE syllabus as well as the knowledge and exam techniques needed to progress beyond it.
I can help with:
. GCSE Business content and key concepts
. Exam technique and structuring longer-mark questions
. GCSE French speaking, writing, reading and listening
. Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
. Homework, revision and mock/exam preparation
. Building confidence in areas students find difficult

Lydia is friendly, patient and really good at explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand. She made the lessons feel relaxed and helped build my confidence, especially with topics I had been struggling with. She was always organised and encouraging, and I felt much more prepared for my exams after our sessions.
