Methodology
I enjoy teaching through practical methods like conversation, writing practice and feedback, and things that interest you. I am a patient instructor who enjoys learning as much about you as you enjoy learning from me! I believe that teaching and learning are mutual endeavors that require us to work together!
Background
I began my career as a radio DJ but found it less interesting than I had hoped after spending a semester abroad studying in France. I learned that the world was a huge place full of interesting people. I wanted to go, to see, to meet people, and to experience life. So, I took a chance on a job in China. I planned to stay one year but loved it so much I stayed for five and a half!
I was finally convinced to leave China to advance my career in international education. It has been an amazing journey learning from exceptional colleagues around the world.
I've been teaching English and ESL for 18 years while also working in higher education administration.
I can't wait to meet you and start learning together!
