About Carole
I have been working as a journalist in Australia and globally for 25 years and teaching journalism across Australia for the same period. I have also lectured on employee health and fitness at universities in the USA, Canada, Japan, Germany and Australia.
Specialising in writing technical, industry, health, science, finance, business, nanotechnology, travel, human resources management and travel articles / web-content, I also teach and assess sports reporting, travel writing and freelance journalism.
I am a certified trainer and assessor and have qualifications in science, recreation, occupational health and safety, training and assessment. As well as English, I speak fluent German, plus conversational Japanese and French.
My hobbies / activities include: pottery and painting, swimming, group exercise classes, travel Japan and the world, learning Japanese, dancing and movies.

My teaching method is to work with you covering the basics of journalism, spelling, grammar, article structure and then we move on to writing articles and web-content or written copy for your business.
We will examine headlines, by-lines, leads, article body and close, writer's guidelines and blogging for money.
Then we will cover pitching your articles to publishers, the business of journalism, invoicing, getting paid, social media, professional organisations to join and how to generate work / income in your journalism business.
Before you know it, you will be conducting a professional journalism business.
I like teaching on-line as well as face to face in class rooms and / or in your office or home.
