About Jacquelyn
I am a Jamaican teacher working in Florida as a Physics Honors instructor. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Math and Physics. One of the things I have noticed over the years is how students get fearful and anxious about numbers. This cause them to struggle in very basic mathematical concepts.
Giving students a good foundation in Math and help them to appreciate number sense will result in them performing much more confidently at the higher levels.
I am aware of building rapport and trust with the students to help them perform better. Hence, I strive to give every student a personalized touch.

I am interested in helping students learn foundational Math skills, and help them to develop and appreciate numbers' sense.
Lessons will be tailored to the students needs including: structured lesson and assessment checks, homework help, exam prep, and most importantly concept grasping.
My main style is to use tutorials, research and step-by-step methods to help students understand what and why they are getting the answers they do.
My target group is Elementary to Middle school Math, Algebra 1 and Geometry, as well as high school Physics Honors.
