About Gabriel
My name is Gabriel Fynsk! I am an internationally acclaimed composer who grew up playing Piano in Scotland before moving to the United States to study composition at the Juilliard School in New York City. I have taught students between the ages of 5 and 50 from various backgrounds and musical experiences. Are you thinking of applying to a music school? Or are you trying to write your first piano sonata and don’t know where to start. I can help! My lessons focus on you and your music goals. I specialize in teaching beginner to intermediate piano as well as writing orchestral/chamber music - even opera! I believe that music listening and comprehension is as significant to one’s education as music creation. For this reasons, my lessons consist not only in the craft and artistry of your own music, but also other’s music so that your appreciation, growth and understanding of all music flowers.
