About AYODELE
About Ayodele
I'm Ayodele Obayanju, and I teach Mathematics and Chemistry — two subjects most students either love or dread, with not much in between. My job is to move you (or your child) firmly into the first camp.
Over the years I've worked with students across the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, and Canada, guiding them from O-Level right through AS and A-Level. What I've learned from teaching across so many different curricula and time zones is simple: the subject doesn't change, but the student in front of you always does. So I don't teach the same lesson twice — I teach the student.
A few things you can expect working with me:
Real explanations, not shortcuts. I'd rather spend an extra ten minutes making sure a concept actually clicks than rush through a syllabus you'll forget by exam season.
A track record that speaks for itself. My students haven't just passed their exams — many have gone on to pursue Mathematics, Engineering, and the Sciences at university, which tells me the foundation actually held.
Patience with the process. Whether you're catching up after falling behind or pushing for that A*, I meet you where you are and build from there.
Mathematics and Chemistry can feel like two completely different worlds, but they share the same trick: once the logic makes sense, everything else follows. That's what I'm here to help you find — not just the right answer, but the reasoning that gets you there every time.

My pedagogical philosophy centers on the dual engines of science and math: inquiry and exploration. Drawing on a 15-year career in secondary education, I transition the classroom from passive listening to active problem-solving. Every lesson balances rigorous analytical training with hands-on experimentation, positioning me as a facilitator who helps students unpack abstract frameworks, test hypotheses, and build a lasting, confident STEM identity.
