About Sharon
I worked in aviation most of my life, being a commercial pilot and teaching people to fly. I fell in love with teaching.
I then went into aviation management, as the Operations Manager of a large fleet of aircraft operating throughout Africa and the Middle East.
With the Covid-19 pandemic disrupting aviation globally, I started studying TEFL. I satisfactorily completed a Level 5 300 hour course with i-to-i, which included One-to-One, Online and Business English.

I teach with a focus on the students and their specific requirements. I find students are motivated and more able to absorb what is being taught if lessons are structured around themes of their interest.
Methods I use to teach vary from PPP to TBL to TTT (sometimes a combination) depending on the lesson and the age and experience of the students.
Being a more mature and experienced person, who loves people of all ages and cultures, I give of my very best at all times, with an energetic and positive attitude. I find different cultures very interesting so enjoy learning about students while they learn about English.
I understand the need to be fully prepared for each lesson and respect the student and school's time.
