About Karen
I have taught kids creative writing through my newspaper (we have worked with Nickelodeon for yearS), school and other tutor agencies for about 18 years. I would say hundreds of students if I include schools, creative writing classes and my newspaper. One tutor student, named Dana, was a student who was struggling to write papers for her sociology and history classes at Monmouth University. I helped her in comprehension, grammar and putting her ideas to paper in better form and content. She gained a whole new understanding of the writing process and the written word.
