About Keelin

My teaching processes and motive:
● Exam focus is a key element in my teaching as I know exactly how to motivate
students to want to do better and improve grades.
● I am recognised for enhancing the learning process enabling students to get the
most out of their study/schooltime.
● I have in-depth knowledge of the Irish and French Junior and Leaving Certificate
courses and have excel PowerPoints and lesson plans to teach them the best way
possible.
● I am well equipped to adapt to students needs and change teaching methods if
required to help achieve the students strengths and cater to their needs during
classes.
● I plan well structured lessons to help engage and motivate the student.
● I possess a strong degree of patience which compliments my conflict management
skills.
● I ensure my classes have an intense success driven atmosphere to ensure my
students progress to further education.
● I find making students reflect on their attitude and effort helps them remember the
end goal and fulfill their potential.
● Cognitive and educational development is one of my main goals. Teaching my
students how to adapt difficult and challenging exam situations.

About the lesson

I have 6 years experience in giving grinds in Irish and French ranging from primary school to leaving cert. I can cover all areas of language from oral to written to aural. I give a structured one to one grinds with focus on progression through the curriculum. We can also target specific sections of the course the student is struggling with.
