Sinéad's tutored me for 3 months as a beginner in Irish; starting off with a vague desire to want to Irish, Sinéad designed a programme of work that suited me, following learning objectives and tailored to accommodate tangents in session. Sinead is a brilliant, patient tutor who has supported me with my Irish as I feel like I am behind due to the schools being out for so long. She walked me through step by step at a pace that I could understand, and never got frustrated having to go back over things for me. She answered every question I had and the notes that she gave me were such good quality. She has instilled so much confidence in me and now I actually enjoy studying Irish, which was once my worst subject. When I went back to school my Irish teacher couldn’t believe the progress that I had made, and the next assignment I did I got a 90% on!! (Normally I was a 60% student) I am delighted and would recommend her to anyone.

I recently underwent 10 weeks of Irish lessons with Sinead. I was able before starting the lessons to discuss what I wanted to get out of them and what exactly I wanted to learn. Sinead was very accommodating and worked on a an outline that would be achieved every week. Being from Dublin and having only a basic grasp of Irish it was grate to learn from a native Kerry Irish speaker. As a person she is so lovely and grate to talk to, which is what you want. Not only is she a grate teacher she has a genuine passion for the Irish language and culture, which has reflected on me giving me a love for the language. If you want to learn Irish from someone who grew up with Irish as their first language and didn’t know English until the age of 10 Sinead will give you that raw experience.
