About Silvia
Ciao a tutti! My name is Silvia and I am a PhD student in Italian literature in Kent :) I have been teaching Italian since I moved here in the UK and I love it! I'm currently teaching to undergraduate at uni, and I have a successful and very varied experience as a tutor, having students from 5 to 75 years old. I am currently tutoring for A level examination, holding conversation classes and language classes to kids, and the excellent results my students have achieved so far are proof of my passion, knowledge and commitment.

My teaching method varies according to age, interests and aims of my students. The communicative approach is the core of my teaching, which can be more playful and based on games and a variety of stimuli for the youngest ones, and more exam or skills-based for the oldest ones. Flexibility, differentiation and challenge will always be there, together with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
