About Gabriele

Hi! My name is Gabriele. I lived for 16 years between England (London) and Australia (Melbourne). I have a BA in 'Sound Arts' from Middlesex University (London) and from 2018-2021 taught English to refugees and asylum seekers in Melbourne. I worked as switchboard operator, receptionist, 'infopoint' and assistant to the Events and Fundraising department at two important art galleries and a concert hall (Barbican Arts Center, National Gallery of Victoria and Melbourne Recital Centre). I am fluent in English, (C2 level certified through TOEFL test) a language which I still use on a daily basis both in my professional and private life.

About the lesson

I offer a mixed methodology that begins from conversation (to help you express yourself naturally) and reading of articles (to develop comprehension and learn new words) but can also include targeted exercises if the student wants to take a number of lessons.
My goal is to create lessons tailored on the specific needs of each student, which is why I offer a free consultation lesson (30 min) to discuss objectives and methodology.

I can help you express yourself naturally both in written and spoken English. Having worked both in direct contact with the public and in more formal office environments (see my professional experience above) I will help you to express yourself in whatever setting you might be finding yourself in.
