About Kayla
when I was in school, I had straight A’s and worked hard to achieve what I have today. While math has always been my strong subject, there were others I struggled with. Tutoring helped me to get to where I am today and because of that I would love to help other struggling students with the knowledge I have and be able to help them understand and remember what they are learning for the future. Math can sometimes be boring, but when you make something fun or grasp a students interest using something that they like, not only will they retain it but they will do it with ease.

I use real life scenarios to help a student understand and grasp the concept of algebra so they won’t forget it. By using their interests or hobbies it helps the student understand it more. Like with helping my brother for instance, he loves hockey and so when teaching him basic algebra I use scenarios using hockey for him to understand and grasp the concept. I also some up with easy ways for a student to remember how to do algebra
