About Nikolay
I am 22 and I’ve been playing chess my whole life. I am an engineering student specialising in environmental engineering. I am bilingual as I am fluent in Russian. I am a Mongolian who grew up in Russia where chess is a huge sport. I then moved to the UK where I opened a chess club in my high school. Now I live in Canada where I want to promote chess even more

I am very passionate about chess and I’m confident that you will love this game too. We will start with basic rules and what each piece does and then we will move on to exploring different strategies and openings. We will always end the lesson with a full game so that you can practice what we have learnt that day.
