About Alveena
I’m 16 years old with quite a bit of teaching experience! I’ve achieved strong GCSEs and aim to help everyone get the same. As I’m still in the education system myself doing A levels I can help students who are in a similar position to me! I’m extremely friendly and will always make sure that you understand and will always encourage you to ask for help. I’m happy to help with homework, exam preparation and revision!

I’m looking to teach online with each session lasting an hour. I will be teaching KS3 students so years 7,8,9 in maths specifically and I’ve also previously tutored for the 11+ giving me a handful of knowledge! I will engage with my student, many of my teaching techniques include active learning, and scaffolding where I take the initiative in answering the question then gradually letting them solve it independently after a couple of questions. I’m also quite interactive so I will virtually share my screen to use whiteboard apps etc and will often check to make sure you understand!
