About Artemis
I am a recent Cornell graduate who has informally taught realistic drawing to students of various ages. Because I encourage a wholistic approach, I have found my students gain not only drawing skills, but also a new philosophy with which to experience the world around them.

I strongly believe that an education in any of the arts requires a teacher that is flexible with their student's personality. We will start our first lesson by getting to know one another through simple sketching exercises before diving deeper into technicals. I not only teach basics in realistic drawing, but also expose this craft as a way of thinking beyond lines on a paper - offering optional readings on art history and aesthetic philosophy.
