About Surya
Up until recently I was a student, and I recognize that it's not an easy life. However, I'm off the firm belief that while there's no substitute for hard work, there's no reason why learning can't also be exciting and fun.

My general philosophy is around 'the three E's' - ie. fostering expertise, engagement, and excitement in whatever subjects that I'm teaching.
What this looks like is approaching problems with my students from all angles. We'd take a broad, birds-eye view at the passage or problem, then perhaps break it down into specific components before piecing together how the work done ties into the larger aim.
These lessons are geared towards students of all grade levels (K-12), who needs help with math, physics, english, standardized test prep, or college admissions essay help.
