About Eric
Hi! I'm Eric—a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Computer Science, and a deep passion for teaching Math and Science. I graduated as my high school’s valedictorian, earned a 1510 on the SAT and a 34 on the ACT, and was recognized as an Amazon Future Engineer Scholar and QuestBridge College Prep Scholar. Throughout my academic journey, I found that my greatest joy came from helping others not just understand difficult subjects, but truly enjoy learning them.

I’ve been tutoring for over seven years, working with middle school, high school, and college students in a variety of settings—from classroom-based peer tutoring to small group sessions and one-on-one private lessons. My specialties include Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, and Biology. I’ve also helped students prepare for standardized exams like the SAT and ACT, and have guided students through college applications, including essay editing and admissions strategy.
My tutoring style is friendly, flexible, and goal-oriented. I believe in meeting students where they are and breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps. I adapt my lessons based on each student’s learning style and pace, whether they need to catch up, get ahead, or dive deeper into a subject. I also prioritize building confidence—because once a student believes they can succeed, they usually do.
