About Kyrie
I am a rising Junior and economics major at Columbia University but will be home in Spokane for the summer! I typically tutor around four to five 7th-12th graders during the school year, and during the summer I work with a few more students for a lot more hours and in a lot more depth. I have experience in all subjects, but most of my experience is in mathematics (all grades) and PSAT/SAT prep.
Six out of the seven students I tutored this school year now maintain As in math. I have also tutored students with ADHD, anxiety disorders, and ODD. During the pandemic, I shifted to virtual tutoring seamlessly using Zoom or facetime.

About the lesson

I help with assigned or missing homework and make sure the student understands the content. If they do not, I supply supplementary materials and go over the content with them step-by-step.
For SAT prep, I create monthly plans with content to complete every week. I would work with each student at least bi-weekly for about an hour and make sure they are on track. If they are not on track, we would get back on track and I would adjust the plan accordingly.

Long distances (10+ miles) we can discuss pricing, I will not go above $25. I typically charge more for blatantly disrespectful students who do not wish to learn.
My price is high, but my skillset is even higher!
