I STRUGGLED with math in middle school but through hard work, I ended high school with a 7/7 (highest score) in International Baccalaureate Higher-Level Math.
I completely understand the struggles of students and always teach like how I was taught: "Explain like I'm 5."
I break down concepts to simple English and don't use math-y jargon to make things even more complex :)
