About Jacquelyn
Hi, I’m Jacquelyn, I'll be a junior in high school this fall and am located in Warren, MI. I'm here to help tutor your elementary student this summer! This is my first year tutoring, but I have multiple experiences working with kids. I really enjoy being able to help others and would even help tutor my classmates or relatives. Although I am a young student, I’m also very intelligent and accomplished. Currently, I attend an advanced mathematical and science program known as MMSTC with over a 4.0 GPA all throughout the past school years. This children's experience will also contribute to my possible future career in pediatric medicine. I'm also very welcoming, encouraging, and want to make your child's learning experience more enjoyable.

These lessons can be held at the student's location or set up someplace. Students will be expected to bring basic learning materials, as I will help with the student's current homework assignments and extra learning based on personal needs. We will go over what they know, use visual tools/tricks, ask questions, and do personalized practice problems. We can discuss goals and scheduling while getting to know each other the first lesson. Many students struggle sometimes learning or focusing in class. Feeling understood and patient when learning is a connection that stands out to students and may even stick with them. My goal for my students is to leave them feeling improved and more confident using quicker ways to learn and finding their own tactics they learn best with.
